Unit Director Sales & Cooperation UK (m/f)

Job description:
Reporting to the Country Manager, the Unit Director Sales & Cooperation is responsible for all sales and cooperation activities as well as managing a team of account managers.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of national and international sales professionals who are responsible for the acquisition of new shop and online cooperation partners
- You and your team are responsible for the mainly telephone acquisition and management of the key accounts
- Development and management of strategic cooperation partners with a focus on content, white label and traffic activities
- Initiate, coordinate and finalize all sales activities (from first contact to contract negotiations to deal closing of key accounts)
- Create and monitor marketing opportunities with client base (display advertisement, marketing co operations)
- Develop cross-selling opportunities with publishers
- Interface with portal management to improve site performance based on partner input
- Initiate and coordinate seasonal sales activities with content manager/portal manager
The candidate must have:
Key skills
- Manage, lead and develop talent within the Sales team.
- Significant experience in Sales / Sales Management / Partner Management within the e-commerce Market.
- A proven track record of working with all types of retail and global account partners at a senior level.
- Ability to communicate at board level, intellectualize strategic problems and deliver creative/innovative solutions for sustainable business performance.
- Current knowledge of the British E-Commerce Market.
- Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Bachelor degree level, minimum 2.1.
Desirable skills
- Knowledge and/or experience of the retail, FMCG or travel sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, at all levels, both written and verbal, and preferably fluent in a second language.
- Credible and has drive to develop initiatives with colleagues worldwide.
- Able to work effectively in a fast paced business and manage multiple priorities.
- A close attention to detail, strong planning skills and an analytical approach.
